Default NewBlue Titler Pro 5

I read on the grassvalleys webpage regarding new features for edius 9WG:

EDIUS Workgroup 9 users are eligible for a free download of NewBlue's Titler Pro 5 for EDIUS

Anyone know how to get this? Can't find anything on Newblues website about this offer. Also, it says "free download", download is always free but is using it free as well? :)

You will need to download the OFX bridge installer. You can find this on the GV product download page. Both the bridge and TP5 are installed at the same time. The previous version used in the 1 year trial was TP 2.

Yes we include TP5 with a permanent license for free with the OFX bridge for EDIUS 9.
We are preparing the release.

Default OFX/TP5 download

Hi Jerry -
I spent nearly 15 minutes searching everywhere I could - GV Products, Downloads, Upgrades, Register pages, etc. - and could not find the OFX Bridge/TP5 download. If you have a link to that page, I'd really appreciate it. I'll probably install 9 this weekend, and want to have everything ready for complete installation.

Also - is there no way to carry over from EDIUS 8.xx to 9 WG all the plug-ins I have installed already?? New install the only way???

And Happy Thanksgiving to you. Don't answer today - it's a holiday ! ! ! !
See you soon - maybe CES this year, or waiting for NAB?
Best,
Alan

From what I under stand GV is "preparing the release." as stated above and the link to OFX bridge should eventually appear under "available downloads" on the GV website. If you look on the page under registered products and edius 8 that OFX bridge link is there for edius 8 but not yet for edius 9. That's at least how I understand it.

Best,

Alan, sorry for the confusion. I thought that had already been posted. Keep watching. It is the basic titler and not Ultimate.

As far as the plugins, you can copy the plugin folder from 8 and paste it into 9.
Some will work others will not.
It's not my favorite way to do it.
I like direct installs on a new version.

The 3rd party vendors are still getting plugins ready.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Sondra.

This is correct. I will put up a post when it is available.
