I would think the actual number of sales would be a big factor in retaining or removing the option in Pro.

Maybe, but it sounds a bit irrational.
Why doing work just to stop a sell (even if sells are of small number)?

BM Intensity Pro & Pro 4K are not listed among the PCIe I/O cards.
Is there no longer official support for them?

Well it seems crazy to remove the Loudness meter and Audio Monitoring that is in Edius 7.

Perhaps Edius Pro 8 should be called Edius Semi-Pro 8?

At the moment I can't see anything that would make me rush out and buy Edius Pro 8 when it is a little vague when the extra functions will appear over the next two years.

Is it possible to stay with Edius 7 on the same system besides Edius 8 trial version is installed?
