Default Date/Time Stamp in AVCHD?

Is it possible to stamp AVCHD video with the date/time the video was shoot in? Im using the the trail of edius 5 and have found where i can get it displayed on my video but when i go to render then check out the exported file the date/time stamp is not there?

Is this because i am using the trail or do i have something wrong?

Thanks

It is possible to see date and time of captured clip shots in the bin.
On output it is possible to show timecode information - it is one of the export options. I am unaware of an automated way to show the original clip date. I often add date and place information on my output, but as a lower thirds title added manually.

There's an option in the EDIUS settings to display Rec Date/Time or Tape Timecode in the overlay.

You need export file and tick "Display timecode" option in export dialog window.

When i go to export i get some strange file name? Im going to file - export project aaf then i see the "display timecode" but then it does not make a clip?

I have used print to file and tick Display timecode but the file still will not have a time/date stamp?
