Jerry, thank you for this nice Video.

Yes I have seen the possibilities to set the effect to 50%, or to set the playback of Workgroup to 50% - or to go back to Project Settings from my UHD Project to a HD Project.

I see here the best results with still staying with the UHD 10bit Project Settings, Setting the filter to 8bit and going with Workgroup to 1/4. The 1/4 is still fine since it is a UHD Project.

Well that allows at least to work with the Bridge. Have tested it now with BBC but also with Looks3.

Do we have by now a solution for Hitfilm?

I ask that because it does not Show up in the Bridge, what is a known issue - but is there anything I can do about that?

Hitfilm Ignite is going to be a direct plugin so no need for the Bridge. It should be available in 4-6 weeks.

Thank you. Yes I had that information. Hope that the native Hitfilm implementation will come soon.

Default HitFilm Ignite is available as native Edius plugin

The HitFilm Ignite native plugin is available at the HitFilm website (https://hitfilm.com/ignite). The announcement cite that 129 of 147 plugins are compatible with EDIUS 8. The Installation, activation and first tests run at my computer without any problems.

Native plugins are connected via Edius-SDK, OFX-plugins by OFX-bridge.
I wonder in waht way your post is linked to the OFX-bridge?

You can try Resolve based plugins to see if they work.
Some will, some won't.
OFX is not the one for all product that it was envisioned to be.

Popular hosts would get better support of plugin developers.
For their own interest they would do some adjustments to make it work!
