Default 8K Support in Edius

When will Edius support 8K Content Creation ?
I know there is a version in Japan which supports 8K - when will it be commonly available ?
In Resolve one can easily work with 8K Content in e.g. DNxHR, H264 native and H265 main10 10Bit NVIDIA.
I didn't know that the NVIDIA 1000er series supports en-coding 8K H265 10Bit
Content.
In TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 7 - 8K processing is supported also.

When will Edius move to industry standards ?

I own 6 Systems - don't need a 7th.
I need the SW.

Maybe it is a good Idea to contact the master distributor magic multi media or one of the re-sellers in Germany to see if they can be of assistance. We here on the forum can't help you with this unfortunately.

Maybe EDIUS 10 will get 8K. Vegas 17 has support with auto generated proxies. Intent there is what I would like in the future, to crop and pan like I do for UHD. No real cameras at reasonable price for me yet but I am sure they will appear in the new year. Maybe Sharp or Z-Cam.
