Default Disabling chapter menu

I have a project for DVD Creator which has 7 sequences. Only one of them has chapters. I do not wish to enable the viewer to enter a chapter menu (meaning - when he selects to view the sequence, he will immediately see it, and NOT enter a secondary menu in which has a list of all the chapters).

How to accomplish this? I have selected "No Chapter Buttons" and "No Chapter Menu" but the final DVD still has a chapter menu.

I have Edius 5.01, is this fixed in 5.11?

Default Sequence chapters have disappeared

Perhaps I should rephrase the question, as your solution did not solve the problem, rather diverted it:

I must a create a DVD disc where most of the sequences (i.e. titles) have have no chapters, but ONE sequence DOES have several chapters inside it.

With your solution, it is like creating one title with several chapters. I have done what you told me, and ended up with a dvd that has the ability to navigate between the sequences (which is something undesirable), and the chapters which i have created inside the first sequence have simply disappeared. It is a 30 minute sequence and i must have chapters inside it (although, as mentioned, i don't wish them to appear in the DVD menu).

What you suggested is like having a DVD for a feature film, in which the viewer is not able to navigate between the scenes, but is able to navigate between the main feature, and, say, the behind the scenes or trailer. It does not make sense.

untick "use menu" in DVD creator

chapters that are markers on the timeline will work, but you don't see a menu

This is true, but...

If i put them all in one timeline, the Wizard does not create chapters for the each and every sequence. Read my post from 26-06, 08:33.

ok, then select only title menu

assemble your show on one timeline and add markers where chapters need to be

assembling sequences is no good, you loose the markers

so you shift=A select all clips in each sequence and then copy paste to a new sequence until it is all complete on one timeline, then add the markers where you need chapters
