I've use pluraleyes on my MBP/FCP. Works great. Just get a decent reference audio to match up the waveforms and you're good to go. They also have a stand alone that works well too which I like as much or more than the plug in version.

OK, I took part of my lunch hour to run by and check out the Plural Eyes plugin operating with Edius. I went by the booth (and they were pretty busy, did not get a chance to speak to Bruce) and they ran me through their already setup, canned demo and things looked good. Then I asked if I could come back behind the counter and try it myself, "No problem" was the answer. So I opened a new sequence and then dropped in what clips they had and let plural eyes do its thing. Worked perfectly. We also added a wav file only and it lined up perfectly.

I did have to show them how to display the waveforms and had to change Log to Linear and a few other tweaks, but they were very receptive. Regular price for the plugin is $149 but they said they would have an intro price when it was finally released. I could not even get a hint of a timeframe for that release but I have to say that what they were running looked pretty stable. I think they will probably have a public beta before the launch but that is speculation on my part.

Overall I was very impressed and will certainly be buying it.

it should, because Edius5 is a current version

if you order Edius NX right now, it comes with Edius5
if you order Edius SP right now, it comes with Edius5

so that makes it current
