Default Edius 5 configuration with MSI R9 290x

Hi dear fellows .

i am using Edius 5/6 for editing videos
now days i have a problem my MSI R9 290X not works with Explode plugins and not giving good timeline playback preview .
can anybody suggest me better setting for it
blew my system configration

Main Board : Gigabyte H-87 HD3
Processor : Core i7 4770K 3.5
Ram : 24 GB ram
HDD : 256GB SSD + 4TB SATA
Graphics : MSI R9 290X Video card

if there is any better setting for edius and xplode let me know thanks in advance

Well you just need to copy a dll file in your xplode installation directory and after that you will find "Ati hardware renderer" in the setting of your xplode config in addition to "Universal D3D renderer", from there you can select your graphics card and that will work while editting.

I don't know if it will recognize that card. From what I remember the D3D renderer either stopped at the ATi 800 or 1000 models. If it does work, consider yourself lucky.
You're running modern hardware, why not use modern software as well? Explode was good in it's day, but it looks cheesy compared to today's effects.
