Default New PC, need help with specs

Hi guys,

Below is a spec machine I was suggested by a business that deals with GV in Brisi late last year.

Does this seem current for the edius 6.5.

Specs and parts suggested by a canopus dealer in brisbane are as follows-

Motherboard- asus P6X58D
Graphics card dual- asus ENGTX560
RAM kit 2x4gb 16oomhz (total of 24gb all up)
CPU 12 core 3.46ghz intel
2 TB hdd
800watt power supply Thermaltake
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

I also have been using a NX card for about 85 years and was thinking of finally upgrading this awesome card(sad) and going for something else.

Was thinking a HD spark card. All I need is for the card to monitor out to hd monitor in hdmi and audio. Does the card I choose help in speed or is that more the computer itself. I shall not need analog inputs/outputs etc.

I was going to use my local guy who did a great job but anyone know a good guy locally in goldcoast, brisi to build this.

Thanks guys. Look forward to your responses.

Maybe you should now think of a Z77 Motherboard as this will give you Ivybridge for fast H264 encoding
Edius 6.5 will not give fast H264 on X58
