Default Edius 5.10 delay?

Official Japan site has info online which says that the release of Edius 5.10 will be delayed (according to babelfish translation). Is this correct?

No. It isn't delayed.

It will be released in the next few days, as was always stated (May). We are finishing up on the distribution method. (it is a very large update)

Thanks, Kenneally! According to the babelfish translation it seems that Japan wanted to release the update by the end of April. So your answer makes perfect sense.

No plans for an ISO release. But the update is going to be a multi-part split archive for easier download.

Maybe you can provide an iso as an alternative, too?

Anyway, launch it asap, pleeeeeeease! :-)

Will you have to install using Disk first (5.00), then 5.01 update, then last 5.10 update?
Or are you able to install using Disk (5.00), then go right to 5.10 update?

On a side note, why do you have to shutdown your system after installing EDIUS 5 and its updates? Would be less system stress to just be able to restart the system rather then turning it off and on two times (maybe three if 5.10 works the same way).
