Default Any drawbacks to rewrapping MXF files to MOV?

I'm using a utility (Kyno) to transfer Canon MXF files from a CFast 2.0 card to my hard drive. The utility lets me designate subclips within the much larger files, then performs the transfer without any reencoding.

It DOES, however, insist on re-wrapping the transferred clips as MOVs. They play back fine in Edius, and comparing the files (difference filter) shows them to be visually identical.

But I'm wondering: are there drawbacks to re-wrapping files like this (MXF to MOV? I'm not a codec expert, and didn't want to commit to this workflow before asking. Thanks.
