Default New Logic Keyboard

New colors on the backlit keyboard. I also talked with them about manufacturing an overlay for laptops.

Well, I hope they are making them better than they did. Mine worked fine for 11 months. Thirty days before the warranty expired I had my first key cap pop off.
They were very nice and sent a replacement key cap. Thirty days after my warranty expired my second key cap popped off.

Then 2 months later another one fell off. At this point, I have 3 additional missing key caps for the keyboard. Look at the picture. These all happened within months of the warranty expiring.
I felt I should have gotten a new keyboard, but that didn't happen.

LogicKey2.jpg
Also take note, The #4 key cap they sent me was for a different NLE and since they are in Europe it just wasn't worth the headache of getting the correct one.

I like the keyboard and warranty service. That said, I shouldn't have any issue with key caps popping off on a $140 keyboard. I give it an 'A' for effort and an 'FFF' for the manufacturing quality of the key caps. At the end of the day, if the keyboard is unusable it is worthless.

All I'm saying is BUYER BEWARE.

I have the Editorkeys non backlit version. The logic keyboard replaced it. I'm not thrilled with the key spacing on the Editorkeys.

Jerry, I think maybe you just got a bad one. I have not had a single problem with mine.

That may be the case, but it's still a lemon and I can't be the only one.

Not on this forum. However, there have been reports from users of other NLE keyboard versions.

As I said earlier, I like the keyboard but feel I should at least report the possible downside.

Scroll down to the 'Not so good' area.

I used to use Word Tech also, both personally and on every client system I built, as I found the build quality very good, but if I recall correctly, they were bought by Logic Keys several years ago and no longer exist.

I had one on my old Liquid system for about 10 years. It still is sitting on a shelf and is in perfect working order.
