Default New laptop

Looking for a laptop for quick field editing with Edius 8 pro. Being out of unprofessional work, I'm not ready to pay thousands of dollars. I think a good compromise is the Asus N580GD-E4087T. Powered by an i7-8750H, it offers 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, GTX 1050-4 GB @ about 1200. What do you think about it?
Thanks in advance

on field rough cut: LapTop ASUS N580GD 15,6", i7-8750H (Quick Sync), 16GB DDR4, GTX1050 4GB, 512GB SSD PCIe M.2 + 1TB HD, Edius 8 Pro

I have just done a laptop for a customer with a similar spec (not an ASUS but same processor etc) and it worked very well. Hopefully this laptop lets you use the Quick Sync part of the processor too. The only drawback will be the small hard drive.

Thanks David,
well, this laptop carries a 1TB HD together with the primary SSD. Nevertheless I'm used to go around with a bag of external SSD :)
According to Intel' specs the i7-8750H has Quick Sync so it should be ok!
Hummm, I suspect I'll go for it!

On some laptops you can't get the onboard graphics card working if you have an nVidia in it as well. However, on most Asus ones I have used you can do it. The laptops I use have "nVidia Optimus" in them which allows you to use both GPUs, so if that is listed it probably can do Quick Sync.
