Edius SP does have a driver.
What version of Edius are you running currently? If you have Edius 6.06, check the driver folder and see if the card is listed in there. In this thread below, it is running in Edius 6.03. So you should be able to get it to run.

This item has been discontinued. In case you didn't already know. It has been replaced by the Storm 3g Elite.

Hi sorry to bring up an old thread but we have a bit of a dilemma.

Like nomizee we are have this board (Edius SP for HDV) and its working fine with Edius 6.03 on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

We are getting a update altert from Microsoft offering the free upgrade to Windows 10 which we are very tempted to do.

If we accept the upgrade, will our SP for HDV board still work? We are worried that the drivers might not be compatible and we do use this a lot to capture archive material in component and composite.

Thanks for any advice :)

how old is the PC?

chances are that many hardware items will not be compatible if older than a year or so

you can easily remove the alert to upgrade if it is annoying

Thanks Anton, it was brought in 2011. Software will be fine, I've run it on my computer at home, its just the drivers for the card that is the worry. Here's the specs from the invoice:

2 x 2.40Ghz E5620 quad core Westmere Xeon with HyperThreading & 12MB cache
1 x Supermicro X8DAI i7 Xeon motherboard - 2 x PCIe x 16, 1 x PCIe x 4, 3 x PCI, 6 x SATA, MAX 96GB RAM, 12 RAM sockets, 4 x ext USB ports, PS2 mouse and keyboard, FireWire
6 x 2GB DDR3 ECC reg ram for i7 Xeon (must use 6 chips in each system)
2 x 1TB Hitachi 7200RPM 32MB Cache SATA hard drive
1 x 500GB SATA 3 drive. 16MB cache
1 x nVidia GT 450 graphic card
1 x Canopus EDIUS SP for HDV with Edius 6 software

I guess we could give it a go, I understand you can revert back within 31 days of upgrading if it goes belly up.
