Default Updating system

Considering the Asus P6T basic motherboard as I read on the forum that FCB only works on a PCIE X1 slot is this correct at presenyt i do not own a FCB but obviously need to be as future proof as possible. Should i stick to the basic P6T or go for other models which is PCIE x 4 or are GV addressing the problem, being a hardware possible issue it well may be another version of FCB

Thanks

It also works well with Intel DX58SO.

Regards Dave.

Thanks for reply. FCB at present is not a consideration and the Intel board seems to not to have as many I/o and USB etc so i may well go for the Delux or SE model of P6T and be ready for when something requires 4X or accepts 1X unless someone knows some other quirks of GV and P6T..
