Default Turning-Page

Hello,

It seems simple. I want that the background stays stable and not in the effect of turning page, while the transition is operating on the 2 tracks of the book...

... but the 3 tracks are turning...

Any tips

I assume both clips above the background have layouter, reduced size?

if so, use in page turns instead of out (GPU transitions)

Yesss, and your solution is OK. In in place of out.... Grrrr, so simple.

Having 30 pages, I have to cut in 2 each one to always Go IN....

Thanks Anton

the ideal solution would be a fix to this issue where a user can decide in the setup of the transition, how many tracks below will be effected, in most cases I would only want to effect the one below and not any others below that

you can try and ask again

I did ask already back in EDIUS 6 or 7 days, because this also causes a bug

example: add color bars on 4 tracks above each other

use layouter to set each bar to a 1/4 screen size and place each track in a different corner, so when you play back, you see four bars in four corners

now apply dissolve transition to end of each clip in keyer track

now play back and watch the fade out, step through frame by frame and watch waveform mon, each clip will fade out at different times :)

Unfortunately there are several bug which seem to be transferred from version to version and are never fixed. I would be very happy if one upgrade fixed these problems and the software worked as expected in all regards.

Spot on. It seems the known bugs get conveniently swept under the carpet. Some were broken around 5 and 6 and will still be unfixed in 9.
