Default Quick Titler

I have a huge project coming up with a long list of dancers to scroll as credits. What format should I request the list to be in, so that I can open it in Quick Titler. Always did it in Title Motion and had no problem. This is the first time I'm doing it in Edius 6, and it does not support Title Motion.

I tend to ask for .txt files. There's less chance of error.
If you have the correct version, TMP works in E6.

Thanks Rusty. I tried it and now I have another question. The text is shimmering as it scrolls, not smooth. It's the face of the text, not the edge.

What version of TMP do I need?

Thanks,
Ted

For the shimmer I'd try Sans Serif fonts with an edge blur.
Can't say much about TMP as I was never a fan. Someone should know the working version.

From memory a patch for TitleMotion Pro was available in the dowmload section for a while. It is long gone now.

Is it shimmering on the reference monitor or your computer monitor?

I can get a very crisp and smooth roll with Quicktitler. It is very simple to do as well.

Thank you, with your help we figured out in Quick Titler and will go with that. By tweeking the speed of the scrolling and edge blur, it looks good. The lack of crispness could also be the fault of the TV & NTSC.

I use Anton's formula here http://www.videoproductions.com.au/html/tmpro-roll.html

Works in QT as well as TM

I believe the version you are looking for is "Titlemotion Pro for EDIUS 6"
:)
I have both TMP and Vistitle. Don't think I can really pick a winner to be honest - each have their own strengths.
