Once you have connected it should contact the license server.

If you cannot remember maybe you can try to contact tech support they can check for you if the activations are done on the same machine or different machines. Remember that 6.5 is in the EOS category.
how can i contact the tech support please
thnaks

in that case, something like an antivirus program update or a windows update removed GV license manager from the taskbar and from msconfig startup tab, this is why your license is not accepted

go to program files 86/grass valley and see if there is a folder called GV License Manager, if yes, open it and double click the exe and see if it appears in taskbar

if not, uninstall EDIUS 6.5 and say deactivate later, then uninstall the GV license manager, then install 6.5 and it should work without serial

do you have the installation file of 6.5 and the latest updater?

can you make space on C?

maybe your Temp folder is full? maybe downloads folder is full?

maybe you have hibernate on, which can easily use 20 or more GB
open CMD and paste or type "powercfg.exe /hibernate off" without the quotes and press enter

now check how much free space you have
