Default HQ Standard or HQX

I am a little confused with all of the codec settings. Should I use HQ Standard or HQX? In previous versions of Edius I have always used HQ Standard. Is there a way to set all of the presets back to default and delete saved presets?
Thanks

Default

You can use either HQ or HQX. HQX is usually associated with working in 10 bit. If you are doing heavy color correction or adding layers of alpha or effects within your project, 10bit would be the best for that situation.
In general, using HQ, I use fine, will be suitable for most projects. Using HQX will mean a larger footprint on your hard drive as compared to using HQ.
