It does not work with Edius License Manager < 9.
Which is the case with Edius Versions < 9 !

You can install EDIUS9 trial which will replace the LM with the newer one

You can then uninstall the trial or just leave it and don't use it

Thanks, it seems the easiest option. Presumably this will not mess with v8.522 running smoothly.

not at all, E8 and E9 are installed in different directories

also, E9 is way better than E8 so you may eventually activate it and get a free upgrade to EDIUS 10 at the same time

I'm tempted. Our first priority though is upgrading our very outdated workstations.
