Default Edius 7 Trial version Problem

Every time we opening the trial version of Edius 7 we get a "not responding" and want to create a report. But then Edius always starts? The trial version was installed a clean install of window 7.
Is this something to worried about, will it go away when we purchase the real version?

Do you :
1 run antivirus software on that system?
If yes have you excluded EDIUS and the Video drive?

2 Do you have any third-party plug installed ?

That appears to have been my problem. Just made a 20 1920 X1080 min H264 file, it took 55 min is that normal?

Looking at your system specs I'd say that was pretty normal if not fast for a 20min h264 file
