John, been fiddling with this thing today and got some funnies.
I reset my CP from 'none' to 'instant' on this as a subscribed thread. Funny.. no change, still marked as 'none'. Might have missesd something in the sequence. And no email notification.
Just added post to another thread, did not subscribe to it manually, but it is coming up in my CP STList.

I think KH (and others no doubt) is enjoying this.....come on Mr Sparkles, life is getting too complicated for this old timer and the brain is failing fast from what was a handicapped start to begin with.

Peter,

You got that fixed, didn't you? I was about to ask you to check if your SPAM engine might have re-directed all the notifications into the waste bin !!

G'day tingsem.
No not fixed, goofing up somewhere. Getting an instant on a thread I did not subscribe to.
Cannot get a change from 'none to any other for this thread.
In both cases, no email note coming through. So no, not fixed.
If it is coming through to my ISP's Spam detector, so far nothing has arrived in my Bulk Mail. I have been checking. That one (that way) may take some time though to come through.

Select the threads you want to change subscription for, and then scroll to right down the bottom of the list - you will see a drop-down. Default option is to move subscriptions, but you want to choose the Instant notification option and then "Go!"

So this fixes the current threads but are future threads subscribed to automatically after I respond? Or do I have to select each individual thread?

The setting will take effect as soon as you enable it, on all successive posts you subscribe to - not your current subscriptions.

See if you get an email response to this post.

Er KH. But those can be updated too with the checkbox. 'All' or 'some'.
