For e-mail subscription, go to your User CP -> Edit Options -> Messaging & Notification

You'll find an option for default e-mail behaviour for subscribed threads (threads you post in are automatically added as subscriptions by default).
Thanks Kenneally, I have that switched on for "instant" but get no emails.

Dave's saying this another way, more than I did originally.

To put it more specifically:
  • since Edius now has 're-integrated' Pro and Broadcast back into one piece of software as it was originally, this seems less important than it may have before.
  • Edius, whether for TV or 'low end/ other', is Edius. And some users may not glean useful information from posts that they could use/ may apply to them even though not in a broadcast environment.

Well, as it read John, it cast aspersions on my knowledge and character. Not to say they are penultimate for sure. Far from it.

Just needed to get that straightened out for myself and others who read this post, since I didn't get the joke, and others may not have either.

Thanks for setting it straight.

On with show........

Well I have had subscribed threads in the past that have provided me with email notification I'm sure. As distinct from any PM ones.
Right now, I can't seem to find it either????

John
- So you have subscribed to the thread ( don't know that it happens auto)
- In your CP you have asked for a instant, daily, whatever email notification?

My old ones worked, first test on this didn't but had 'None' as my default for the thread.

Not checked my revised sub req. Will watch to see what happens. If any more posts on this thread.

Under "thread" tools up the top it tells me to "unsubscribe" so I guess that means I'm subscribed to the thread.
See if you get an email response to this post.
