We have the New Features And Modifications for EDIUS 9 page to start with.

If you check here you will see all the articles and some podcasts about EDIUS 9 releases and all the new features.

I personally think it is worth the upgrade , but ultimately you have to decide if you need the improvements and new features which are in EDIUS 9

You can always download the trial version to check it out. It is free and runs on the same machine as EDIUS 8.5 as stated in this
sticky.
Time for some research? :)

Thanks Steve
I guess when Edius 10 comes out people with 8 will be forced to purchase new rather than upgrade, (I went from 6 to 8 never used 7)
I've read quite a bit of the crashing threads, but havn't read through to the solutions, so not sure if that's worrying...?

I only saw the jump upgrade available online from 8 Pro to 9 Workgroup.

Is there a less expensive upgrade path from 8 Workgroup to 9 Workgroup?
