Default "Burn To Disk" doesn't burn

I'm trying to burn a disc with the Edius built in "Burn To Disk".
It does the transcodes, then menus, then it just finishes and doesn't burn to disk. It just makes the BFMV folders on my Hard Drive. I looked in the extended settings and I have it set to BURN and not to create image. Any ideas?

Have you checked if it is set to Blu Ray or DVD?

Yes. If it's set to DVD and a Bluray disk is in the tray, the BURN button will be grayed out and visa versa.
I also tried with standard DVD. Same problem.

First, why would you set it to DVD and put a Blu-Ray disk in the drive?

Second, what brand and model # of drive do you have and can you burn to it with other software? Both data BD and data DVD?

Default UPDATE

Ok, here's an update:

If I put a DVD in the bluray drive, the BURN button will be grayed out.
My BD drive is Pioneer BD-RE BDR-205 SCSI and yes, I can burn to it with other software. Both BD and DVD.

When I'm on a SD project, the "Burn To Disk" works fine.
When I'm on a HD 1080i project and burn to DVD (with DVD disk), it burns fine but when I try to burn to Bluray (with BD disk), that's when EDIUS just makes bluray folders and files but doesn't burn. I wouldn't mind burning the bluray disk from these files with Imgburn or Nero, but the problem is that Edius doesn't create certain .index files needed to burn a bluray disk so I have to run the m2ts file in a tsMuxerGUI.exe program to create index files which is a waste of time. (Otherwise the bluray players can't read the disk)

Edius won't burn Blu-ray folders onto a DVD, that is normal

but when you insert a BD-R or BD-RE disk, it should work, at least it does here

I don't use burn to disc that much but it never burn to disc for me either, dvd or blu-ray, I always have to burn it manually after it encoded.

Me too - Burn to Disk has NEVER worked for me either. No big deal here. I just Print to File as Canopus HQ file, then use TMPGenc 4Express to encode to MPEG2 - then TMPGenc Authoring Tool to burn that into a DVD.
