mmm... I wonder why they are supporting the BM cards now? It would be nice if they supported output too (it would save me a slot)

As far as the showing at Interbee, many came away thinking that what they saw was Edius 7 as well. When in fact, it was the 3d program.
Until you see the announcement that you can download the file, everything known is just speculation and subject to change.

InterBEE demonstrated both the upcoming 6.06 update to EDIUS, and the EDIUS 3D Preview. They are two separate builds of EDIUS. (the 3d preview currently operates as a seperate product strand)

More (official) information regarding the 6.06 update, including when it will become available, will be released this week.

I guess GV needed to do it since the New Avid MC, Symphony and NewsCutter now supporting 3rd party I/O card like AJA, Matrox, BMD, Motu and Bluefish444...

I think that's a good move from GV and for Edius user since it will be more option for their customer.

Remember that this is a .ox update so don't expect too many earth shattering new things.
