I had to give up Joe. I tried and tried but it wouldn't go. I also have/had version 1.02 installed, it can be installed as well as 1.11 yet neither version picked up the card. That message you get is what I was getting every time. Never mind I am now using this method

RE: BD-R. no not really anything like 12x available here either and I have a backlog of 2x still.

Some BIOSes allow changing of the slot enumeration order (Top-Bottom, High-Low, etc) so if you have the same physical install locations, check the BIOS to see if it allows changing enumeration order.

There is ROM scanning order but only option is :onboard or adon card first:
Then for the particular slot we have Option ROM scan (enabled), Enable Master (enabled) and Latency Timer (default).
Again it was working under Vista.....

BIOS Vers. 1.2a

Option ROM Re-Placement --> disabled
ROM - Scan Ordering --> onboard first
PCI Fast delayed Transaction --> disabled

PCI Slot 4
Option ROM Scan --> enabled
Enable Master --> enabled

Anyway, wish I just had a Matrox Compress HD, it just bloody works.
