Question 3-way color correction tool tip and question

Tip: If you find the mouse color adjusting behavior in Edius update 8.22.623 annoying, try down sizing the window. This will make the mouse move faster. I had the window large (very large) - and the mouse movement would barely change the color.

Question: Is there a way to go back to the mouse behavior the way it was before the update to 8.22.623?

Thanks

I do not see any difference in the mouse behavior here?

Wasn't there a sizable drag in 7.x on mouse movements in the 3-way color wheel adjustments, when holding down Shift? In my 8.22 holding down Shift does nothing at all. Holding down Alt does add drag, though it seems less than the one produced by Shift earlier. Or am I just remembering things wrong?

HI:

1) Before 8.22.623:
- Dragging the mouse in one of the colorwheels works fast
- SHIFT+Drag works slower

2) Since 8.22.623: The behaviour has been inverted, therefore
- Dragging the mouse in one of the colorwheels works slow
- SHIFT+Drag works faster

Regards kurt

I don't see any differences either. If you want to move it faster, press shift+drag.

Jerry,

I can confirm Kurt's findings.

Out of interest I back imaged 2 machines.

E 8.20.312: 3 Way colour Normal mouse drag = quick. Drag + shift = slow.
E 8.22.623: 3 Way colour Normal mouse drag = slow. Drag + shift = quick.

Seems strange that we have different machines responding differently.

Why might this change occur?

Much preferred it the old way

Geoff

The normal logic in most programs is ctrl-drag to make things slower and shift-drag to drag things faster.

I use ctrl-drag on audio keyframes all the time.
