Should be:
1) Go to the pub before the job.
2) Apply makeup
3) Shoot
4) go to the pub again, job well done.

If I were trying to cover up a stationary part of the frame, then your example
works perfectly. But I needed the extra tracking information, and transform filter as the last step to position the coverup MASK, AND let the tracking info follow the blemish throughout the shot. I think if you watch this video from here at 53:30
