Default Edius 1.0

this is a not a priority but we are getting Master control training today from Harris of course me the harris guy are busting each others chops over Editing software Me Edius him Velocity. He told me when Edius first came out that it had some magnifying glass over the timeline that would make it larger and was a piece of crap. I had Edius since V1 does anyone know what he is talking about?

I really don't think it matters. We are at version 5 now :)

It doesnt were just trading shots, I dont think he knows what Edius is when I told him it could do true multiformat editing in RT he swore it had to be hardware assisted. They did have agood name for it though, his buddies at Harris called it "hidius":). Does anyone know what program he thought was Edius? I have never seen that, The best way to understand it was its kinda like the dock on OSX but in the timeline. Where everything zooms in the middle. Uleads video studio maybe?

Maybe it would be fun to install version 1 again and see how far Edius has come, if only i could quickly find the install cd :)

The most important thing I remember of version 1 is "PCI bus busy" sort of reminds me of "Playback has stopped"...............

Yeah ... yeah ... I remembered that dreaded message too - "PCI Bus busy" ... on my old computer .....
