Default Sony PWX-X160, XAVC-I And edius 9

Hi, I have a Sony XDCAM PWX-X160 I have recorded using XAVC-I Codec at 59.94 fps But whe I imported These files to edius It recognize The frame rate at 29.97... I have changed the project settings but the only way to change the frame rate is clip by clip at properties. If I change the codec for AVC-L at 59.94 there is no problem edius recognize the correct Frame rate. Some Idea?? Thanks

29.97 interlaced? Is your source interlaced or progressive?
Does it look correct when played on a TV monitor?

59.94 interlaced is the same as 29.97 fps interlaced

In HD speak 59.94i refers to the number of fields per second. 2 fields make an interlaced frame, so 59.94i / 2 = 29.97

If your camera shooting setting is 59.94i it is not frames per second, it is actually fields per second.

If hamera is 59.94p then it is frames per second, as the p designated progressive frames, while the i designated interlaced fields.
