Default Pro 7 upgrade to Pro 8

In the GV website I found the following statement:

The EDIUS Pro 8 Jump Upgrade has been extended. From May 1st until July 29th, 2016, any EDIUS Neo user (versions 1 to 3.5) or EDIUS Pro user (versions 2 to 6.5) can upgrade to EDIUS Pro 8 for $399/369, excluding local sales taxes. EDIUS Pro 7 users can upgrade to EDIUS Pro 8 at any time. Contact your local EDIUS reseller for more details.

I'm a Pro 7 registered user and I want to upgrade to Edius 8. Unfortunately I couldn't find any reseller where I live and I don't understand, since it's free of charge, why can't I just download it from the GV site. I asked the Support but they just told me to contact the local reseller. I wouldn't even mind to pay something for an upgrade on line. Can anyone give me some advice on how to do it?

Edius Pro 7 to Edius 8 is not free, it is a paid upgrade.

If you can't find a reseller near you, perhaps you can order online with an overseas reseller, who will then be able to send you a serial number. You then create an Edius ID, download the trial version and apply the activation code.

If you're planning on upgrading from Edius 7 to Edius 8, take a look at the Videoguys.com bundle options. Especially, If you're interested in having some plugins as well.

Edius 7 to 8 Pro + NB Amplify

http://www.videoguys.com/grass-valle...ab-description
What is Amplify?
https://www.newbluefx.com/products/amplify

Edius 7 to * Pro + MB Looks

http://www.videoguys.com/magic-bullet-looks-8475.html

These are just a couple.

You can also get the bundles with the jump upgrade, but not at the same price.
