Dear Anton

While we are on the subject of audio, is it at all possible to have the log wave form show up while using the linear audio editing. The reason I ask this, is that if I choose linear audio editing, I can hardly see the wave form. Could Edius not have one type (log) wave form but allow either log or lin. audio editing, because one can clearly see what one is using as log curves down whereas lin have straight gradient lines.

I thank you.

waveforms still need major overhaul

I only use linear and have no issue seeing waveforms once I normalize the clip, it also lets me see if all clips have the same level

see attached example of linear with normalize

If you like Windows 10 you should update before the free upgrade option ends in July but definitely do not do it in the middle of a project with a deadline. With luck it will work but in my experience just doing the upgrade is not enough and you need to get new drivers for everything, even basic motherboard drives, to make it work 100%.

Default WIN 10 works great for me

I am using Windows 10 with the latest up to date Edius Workgroup 8.XX and I have no issue at all.

David this is probably the most relevant to me right now.
I did LOVE Windows 10... but if switching mid edit or mid project is a bad idea I will be mindful.

I have 2 desktops and 2 laptops to upgrade
I should get onto it

Edius 8 though do I want to install? From Edius 6.5?

I think this translation makes sense

"Do what you want if it makes you happy "

I'm only reading in this forum and thanks to you Anton for all hints and advices.
