Default Legacy driver not working in V6

The IEEE1394 driver is not working for me in EDIUS V6. Trying a SONY Z1 and can't capture, anybody able to test?

I have not been able to test any capture because the only firewire connector on my PC is on the SP card and I don't have a driver

It was previously only the NEC cards (chipsets) that wouldn't work wasnt it?
Now I don't use the NX I have just a IEEE1394 motherboard pin out to bracket type card. It has a Texas Instruments chip. Neither the installed Texas driver or the Legacy driver are working with EDIUS 6

Confirmed on 2 computers both running EDIUS 6.01 & Windows 7 x64.
Did anyone ever check HDV capture in EDIUS 6, makes me wonder because there is not even a HDV capture icon for presets.

Edius6 requires you to roll your own hardware capture preset
