Unless we can reproduce it by following steps so we can see it we cannot send it to our QA department. So far I have not been able to reproduce this.

I'm seeing this issue . It only started with 9.50 (currently using 9.50.5351).

A couple of times, the curve changed completely when I re-opened the Primary Color Correction effect on a clip, exactly as Orward's video shows.

But rather than the entire curve changing completely, what I am seeing all the time is that one of the adjustment "nodes" or "points" disappears when I reopen the effect. It's always the same node.

See attached "before" and "after" images.

TIP:

If you are experiencing this, the moment you open the effect and find that it is a bit messed up, before doing anything to manually adjust it, try pressing Ctrl-Z (undo). So far, this seems to restore the effect for me.

Thanks
Martin

This problem makes itself felt if you are working in the new version 9.50 with the Primary Color Correction presets that were created in previous versions of Edius.
If you use the settings from scratch Primary Color Correction, then there may not be a problem.

This is why a step by step procedure needs to be posted so that others can do the exact same process in testing.
Also, this is the first time that using a preset from a previous version of Edius and used in 9.5 has been mentioned.
If this is the case, include the offending preset for others to test.

I recorded another video with this problem. It is possible that this problem in Primary Color Correction occurs when sharing other tools, in this case, YUV Curve. In this test, we used the saved Primary Color Correction preset from Edius version 9.40.5106:

Here is the video I did using the preset and order within the Info palette.
Notice that the curve, node positions, and value read outs DO NOT change.

Hi guys, having the same issue with the PrimaryCC. It looks to me like this occuring when working with HDR Projects. Also, a second issue: when I import a HDR sequence into a HDR Project, all PrimaryCC loses HDR and is working in 709 instead. Weird.
Is this already reported for bug fixing?
Thx, Martin
