Default First time issue - Slow export [SOLVED]

Since yesterday, I have this strange issue with Edius 9.2 WS
Export time is taking like 10 MINUTES for each PERCENT.
This is even slower than a regular export with no Intel graphics.

Notes and facts:
1. The Hardware Accelerator is ON.
2. I updated to latest version of Intel HD graphics.
3. I tried exporting with different projects that use different Hard drives.
4. Read\Writes tests of hard drives are fine.
5. Restarted the computer
6. Cleared temps and made NO changes to the computer in the last few days.
7. Up until 2 days ago, everything was fine.
8. No other PC issues exist.
9. No effects on footage.

I DO have a backup image of my C drive from the 17th so if no one can figure this out, I'll just try to restore the image and hope that it's not a hardware issue.

mark in and out of a 5min section and export with Hardware acceleration off and time the export time

then do it again with hardware on

if both are the same duration, there is an issue with the Intel driver, try the one from the mobo disk

Too long for 5 minutes so I did a 30 second clip export:

Accelerator ON: 04:43 minutes.
Accelerator OFF: 01:19 minutes.

Yes, no mistake, when OFF it was much faster.
So we established that my Intel driver is bad.

If you recall, I had downgraded to version 9.17.10.2828 because the newer ones started giving me catastrophic errors. Had no issue until yesterday.

Before starting this thread I HAD first updated the Intel driver to the newest one on the MOBO site: 10.18.10.3345 (which the also call Intel VGA Driver (for Ivy Bridge CPU) 15.33.8.3345)

So my test was on the newest one.

The question is what to do now?
Uninstall and reinstall Intel?
Try other Intel versions? (I have 10 different version setups that I can try)

The other question is, since ALL these versions worked in the past - I suspect that something else is messing with the Intel driver.

Last night is when I also noticed something in Edius that surely has to do with the Intel too... I couldn't play or scrub video.... it would flash black frames. Also, it wouldn't play smooth - it would stutter and buffer at 1-2 frames only and the render bar would turn red.

should I just restore the computer?

install the one that is on the Motherboard driver disk, if you still have the disk

it could be an antivirus update that broke something? if you have an antivirus program

my edit PC has no antivirus at all

Has the Intel somehow become the primary graphics card and you have a timeline with GPU effects all over it? I have had something like this when I have a timeline full of, for example, Vitascene filters, and the Intel is trying to process those and do the encoding. This is why the I always want the nVidia to be the main GPU.

Just restored my C drive to an image from a week ago.

Yes, the Intel went back to version 9 (like it should have - and was fine then)
But I still have the SAME issue.

This is strange since I restored to a time that I had no issue.
Can this mean that the physical Intel Graphics chip on the CPU is fried?

David, my Nvidia IS the primary monitor.
There are NO effects on he timeline.

Maybe something got messed up in the BIOS. I'll check now.

Reset the BIOS. No difference. Now I really don't know what to do.
Reinstall Edius? Maybe it's not an Intel issue but how Edius is READING the Intel driver.
But this also doesn't make sense since I restored.

Maybe take your videocard out and see if that makes a difference?

Or you could try to run some benchmark tests to see if certain pc parts are underperforming.

I'm installing Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers. Will update.
