Default Issue with .png files

I have a issue with the latest version of Edius 9 and .png files, I often use a 235 CinemaScope .png file as a crop mask to drop over the footage once I have finished the my edit, on the latest version Edius becomes very unstable takes a long time to get a preview when you scrub and then just about plays the footage but then it won't stop playing the timeline and eventually crashes. I had no problems in previous versions.

Here are two different files of a Cinemascope overlay.
Give each a try and see how well they play.
The overlay with 'kb' in the name has a smaller file size.
Attached Files
File Type: zip 235 Cinemascope 4K UHD.zip (39.4 KB, 13 views)
File Type: zip 235 Cinemascope KB 4K UHD.zip (1.5 KB, 7 views)

Default png files

Hi Jerry
thanks I have downloaded your files and they work fine, no problems with them, so these are really helpful for me to finish my project.

I have uploaded the file I was having a problem with which worked ok with previous versions.

Thanks again Alastair

Upload a .png with alpha for me to test. The posted file doesn't contain alpha.
However, after applying the NB Luma Key it still plays back in real time.

Also, compare the file sizes of the one's I sent you to the file size of the .png files you were
having issues with.
