How does it combine previews

Whyle working, it is interesting to make some previews when tracks are to much complicated to be read in real time.

2 solutions :

1. Make a preview on the difficult zone (with IN & OUT). Edius creates a collection of rendered files stored in the render folder. Its very nice because when you change some elements it only will recalculated the changed section and not the complete zone.

2. Calculation with add on the time line in the same zone. In this case a complete file appear. Not easy if you want to correct something because you have to redo.

Let's say that I use solution 1, until I am completely satisfied. Then, to fix the result I can ask the 2nd method with file add on.

The question : is Edius recalculating the complete zone or only adding the segmented files (obtained in calculation 1) to fix in one new continuous file.

So with solution 1: I'm not sure what you mean by 'preview' . Do you mean that becomes a separately rendered clip, a sequence or what Haddock? Please explain more. What version of Edius are you using?

I am with 8.53.

Preview is : Calculate the zone between IN & OUT (shortcut in my config is P)
The above line of TL is Red and then is becoming green section by section.
