Default Possible to use Filters with Watch Folders?

I haven't been able to find any clear indication within the documentation stating whether or not you can use Filters with Watch Jobs. Can anyone tell me if it's even possible before I continue trying to make it work?

If it doesn't, is there any other way to automate transcodes while using Filters? (Droplets, etc.)

No, not in ProCoder. It might be possible in Carbon Coder from Rhozet (part of Harmonic), but that's a completely different class of product (designed for Broadcast use) with a different price tag.
