On a Win 7 Core 17 desktop, I previously used Pegasus and the HQ Recorder with great success for capturing video sourced from VHS video tapes.
A few months ago I converted to Win 10. Unfortunately when I tried to capture a 40 minuet VHS tape using Pegasus and the HQ Recorder the saved file is blank and only 7 MB long. When you play the file it is blank and only 3 seconds long. Hopefully I have attached the file (?). My apologies in advance if this is a silly question as I am not very technical. |

It seems that Win 10 and Pegasus don't get along.
You may need to install your Pegasus card in a Win 7 machine, even though it probably was never "officially" supported for anything beyond Win XP. Can you roll back your Win 10 to Win 7?

Does Windows 10 see the device in device manager? Is there an exception next to it? If not, the drivers are at least seen.
If there is software do it, have you tried installing in 'compatibility mode?' Right click on the installer and then select properties at the bottom to open this panel. Compatibility mode.png
