Default Snap Snap Snap ... Can't turn it off!

Is there anyway to disable snap to transitions' Head/Tail alone?

If i uncheck the CLIP box in the SNAP properties ,

it doesn't snap to cut points and transitions, as well.

How to make EDIUS 5.5 to disable just the End/Tail of a transition?

It bug the edius out of me when the playhead snaps to transitions,

and no just to cuts, like in Edius 4.x. PLEASE HELP!

I don't think you can turn off snapping just to transitions.
I find myself holding the Shift key way too often to avoid snap.
Perhaps a feature request is in order.

Default Would you care about a request, too?

If you've entered here , as far as it goes, maybe you'll fill out a feature request, too- as we both seems to care alot about this function.

You can hold down the Shift button and it disables snapping temporarily. Once you release it, snappin goes back to normal. It also works if you have snapping off and holding it down will enable it/disable it.

That's the best way, as Rusty already mentioned.

Default I still holds for a request of Transitions Snap on/off

I think it will be better with another checkbox at the software properties,
instead of working it around. Its a basic principle.
