Default audio video clip on timeline

sorry,

very silly question, where can i choose the option (item) to put only video or audio from a clip and then to drag and drop it in the timeline,

my bad

You can change the track choices when you create your original project settings when first installing Edius:

You can change the track choices when you open Edius by choosing 'New Project' or by opening an old project and customizing:

you can add or subtract V, VA, A, or T tracks once you are within Edius. Just
right click on the grey area under the track patches and it will open up a drop down menu:

If you are referring to changing on the fly, right click the 'A' header and it will give you the options in the drop down menu.

Also, You will notice that I have an icon added to my timeline header for easy switching.

it may be more simple, when you drag and drop a movie clip to the time, there may be an option on the left side of it to pull out the audio option

am i right or dreamin, dont want to change any project setting
