Default chromakey 6.51

Is it me or has the GV chromakey got a whole lot better than before? I can get decent keys now from 8bit AVCHD whereas before it was pot luck!

Default please confirm this possibility!

Hi all,
Can anyone support Mattie's findings? This is really exciting news if this is the case. I have 6.07 and have my copies of the 6.5 update sitting on the shelf awaiting the inevitable updates and troubleshooting that will no doubt be happening. But if Chromakey is better, well I might be tempted to install earlier rather than later!!!!

It is a little better compared to 6.07. That said, it is nowhere near
Robuskey or Boris Red.

and because Robuskey is a filter, you can drag the layouter below Robuskey and add a soft drop shadow to your key

drop shadow with chroma key seen here on second clip

ah! Anton, yet again you destroy my hopes of finding a cost effective Chromakey solution! That is amazing quality, I guess I will have to go Robuskey at some point. Thanks for the examples, inspirational.

You will notice that the Chromakey and Luminance key do not support alpha. Once this is corrected and hopefully moved to be a filter rather than a keyer,
I would hope that it work better.
The blue on the filter button is the indicator that it does not support alpha. This means even if you export with alpha you will only get a black background and not alpha.
If you have it working in 2 sequences, could you please show me your workflow.

Here are 6.07 screen shots using Robuskey and Boris Red:
