Navigate to the bios quicksync setting. More than likely the setting has reverted to the default setting.

There never have been QuickSync settings in "my" bios versions, not with my 3770K, 4770K, 6770K, 8700K and not with the 9900K now ;-)!

The most recent Intel .6326 driver worked with the 8770K flawless but didnīt even install by the installer on the 9900K, had to do it manually from the .zip version where some older drivers from the ASUS site worked.

Ok, getting closer: deactivated the GTX (only blocked the screen in windows) and what, EDIUS sees QuickSync and exports in HEVC10!!

But, we had this **** some time ago where this only worked with Intel VGA only or expanded desktop, not mirrored.
I always hated this because some apps disappeared on the second, non displayed screen where I prefered the nVidia for my Photoshop/Lightroom work.
Later from 9.10 or 9.20 on it was possible to mirror the nVidia to the Intel and everything worked.
Now expanded desktop nor mirrored desktop work, only Intel solo works.
What a BS!!

BTW: did a short HEVC10 QS export render test, nothing special:
8770K took 1:18min, 9900K 1:32min ;-), seems everything is going in the wrong direction for me.
I had my 8770K overclocked but not the GPU.
CPU is only about 50% during the export now, so this shouldnīt be the reason.
All things I donīt understand.

Thatīs on the ASUS site for example, on the Intel site there is already 6326 that can be installed, but only manually.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/pro...D-Graphics-630
Release notes state the driver is only working up to gen 8., under "This download is valid..." also the 9900K is stated but it doesnīt work by the installer.

Now I have Intel made my primary/only display but it doesnīt do 10bit :-(!
Ok, another problem that has NOTHING to do with EDIUS, but Intel states that even the 7. gen should do 10bit via DP I use.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/core/7th-gen-core-family-desktop-s-processor-lines-datasheet-vol-1.html

My GTX1070 did 10bit to my CG276 with the very same cable.

why would you need 10bit for PC graphics?

Lightroom and Photoshop display images "nicer" in 10bit.
My Intel graphics doesnīt do 10bit here but thatīs another matter...

I can have both onboard as nVidia "connected", but it doesnīt work as long as nVidia is enabled in Windows for display, neither mirror nor expanded desktop. I must deactivate the display, the card can be left active and is also supporting EDIUS while rendering.
With the 8700K before this has been working with mirroring.
