Default FLV files

Hi all,

i'am wondering, can you import media in Edius 8 Pro such as FLV files made with Open Broadcast Software.
My little one made a few takes (while he play Minecraft en speak with Teamspeak) and now he want me to mount with Edius. Now i have Edius Neo 3.5 but with these soft it dont work! If its works with Edius 8 Pro, i thinking about it to crossgrade the software!
Thanks a lot for any kind of suggestions.

Upload a sample some where and post a link. We can then test it for you..

FLV is a propritairy Adobe container format.
Edius can't read it directly- You can try to rewrap it to MP4, MPV or AVI.
By any chance Edius can read the resulting file if the needed codecs are installed.

Rewrapping may works with Video Container Changer:

The FLV exporter option has been removed from AE and Premiere 2014-2015.2. It's still in CS6.
If the file is an mp4 base, it might import. That's why I asked for a sample.

There is an SWF to video encoder called Swivel. I have used it with some success in the past. I can't remember it it can do FLV, but it can do SWF, which is the other Flash based video file.
