oh, that is the name of the zip file, the installer is the exe after unzipping

but since you downloaded the latest, it should be fine

can you describe the clips you scrub when Edius crashes? were they captured with Edius?

when non standard files are used on timeline, Edius can crash randomly

They were captured in the Canopus DV format.

are there regular red error entries in event viewer?

are you running antivirus software while editing? if so, be sure all Edius and all files used by Edius are excluded from scanner, this is easy achieved with nod32 antivirus

There are no red errors at all in the logs.

I use Nod32 v4. I will do the exclude thing and try it.
