Default Short Cuts

Is their a way to modify the "add file" short-cut in the bin - it appears to be "hard wired" to Ctrl O - which is also "Open project" when you are mousing over a non-bin area of the UI.

Maybe I miss something - but I really want to alter this behaviour and replace the media import short-cut with Ctrl I for "IMPORT Footage" bringing Edius in to line with most other media soft that I use.

Happy Xmas You'all

Paul :-)

you could always click the add file to bin icon, it will be quicker than a keyboard shortcut since the mouse is already in your hand (I assume)

Hey Anton,

Yes of course - lots of ways - it's just habits from one application to another - I find myself hitting cntrl O when in AE to import footage or cntrl I in Edius - to do the same - as all the Adobe products use this convention as do many others - Edius is a bit out on a limb, at least for me when switching apps repeatadly.

Ah well, no sweat - hope you're OK in Oz - things abit nasty by all acoounts.

Paul :-)

Assuming you are adding by navigating to a clip, I have always found that simply double clicking in the Bin itself is the quickest way.
