Default mixing 4K monitor with HD-monitors

Hi,

I'm running Edius 9.2 on a Windows 8.1 system.

I have changed my screen setup, and put a 4K (3840*2160) screen in the middle and a HD (1920*1080) screen on each side.
If I put the bin-window on one of the HD-screens, and right-click on a clip in the bin, the window does not open at the mouse cursor, but way to the right on the left screen and way to the left on the right screen.

Has anyone had this strange behaviour?

Can I adjust something in Windows 8.1 to correct this?

I have heard that in Windows 10, it is not easy to combine screens with different resolutions.

I hope to hear a different solution then 'replacing ALL MY SCREENS'.

You need to set the same screen scaling for both screens. EDIUS does not like different scaling on the screens. This is the same in Windows 8 as it is in Windows 10. This means either text will look really small on the 4k screen or really big on the HD screen.

Yes, activating this option 'same scaling' solved the problem.

Thanks David,

Glad to know it worked. In the last update GV said they fixed the interface not working properly when you have different scaling set in Mync, but not EDIUS, so maybe that is coming. However, I do have similar problems with different scaling with other programs.
