Default FCB Writer and EDIUS simultaneously

It is very fustrating that you can't use EDIUS and FCB Writer at the same time! This would save SO much time!

You can - only with versions 1.02 beta and earlier. Of course you can't run FireCoder Blu export from an EDIUS timeline & continue editing- need to use the FireCoder Writer software. So you need to export timeline to Canopus HQ first.

Yes, I'm talking about exporting first and then using FCB Writer.

Problem with using previous versions are the bugs that were fixed in 1.11. Here's the list of fixes:

FIRECODER WRITER Software v1.11

This update contains bug fixes and improvements for the FIRECODER WRITER software bundled with FIRECODER Blu hardware.

Changes in this release:

* Fixed an issue where the application may sometimes hang while outputting long-running projects to H.264
* Fixed an issue with elementary stream output where linear PCM audio format files would always be produced despite the setting for audio format
* Fixed an issue with the handling of some audio clips produced with a camera that records in H.264 formats that aren't to specification
* Fixed an issue that caused improperly formatted files to be produced when choosing elementary stream MPEG-2 export, which would result in the file not being handled properly by some authoring systems
* Fixed an issue where the super-resolution function would be disabled if a file was converted with specific operations
* Fixed an issue where audio data is reduced by 1 frame after transcoding
* Fixed an issue selecting SD resolutions when outputting H.264 formatted files
* Fixed an issue where chapters set outside the output range of a project were being displayed when using DVDCreator
* Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause the application to close unexpectedly when playing H.264 formatted files
* Fixed an issue where chapters in preview mode would be wrong

actually re-reading the thread - V1.11 was the patch kit for the horrible V1.10 which introduced most of those bugs anyway. Yes, they broke lots of stuff and this fix list is only half of it.
Most of those bugs weren't present in V 1.02 Beta

I agree - never used V.1.10 & V 1.11 due to numerous new bugs compared to V.1.02 beta.
