Default First experience with Edius 9.5

I stepped into E9.5 yesterday and my first impressions are :
slightly faster than 8.53
H265 is a big improvement ,quality wise!
takes all the settings over from 8.5

I do had a strange thing, some clips where offline and after restoring I got transferring as a solution ?
The clips went in to pink ( red / white grid ) and I couldn't do nothing with it !
Never had this in E8.5.
I replaced them with a new copy from the original and that solved it.
Probably I did something wrong,bud I don't know what !

Second thing, the button to change the playback resolution ( 1/1 ; 1/2 ;1/4; e.s.o.) isn't where I expect it to be,in settings I can change it bud there is no button ?

I work with UHD material, bus the monitors are HD maybe that's the reason ?

Default Another advice about 9.50

I have install it : no problems, no loss
I practize it and have a "feeling" of faster "reactivity" and top behaviour.

Is it just an impression ? Testimonials are welcome.

Hard to say about the pink clips, can you confirm file extension of the pink clips and also confirm that QT player is installed and activated in EDIUS 9.5

Anton
Qt is installed and active, the files had an extension of *.avi.
It was the first time I encountered this.
Maybe something with the switch form E 8.53 to E 9.5 and the project I was doing in E 8.5 ?
At the moment it is all fixt, and no problem anymore.
Thanks for Your response and time.

Haddock
I have the same faster feeling and the H265 give me a better result !
Thx
Edd

Never using multicam myself but could it be that 2 or more audio tracks are active, then the sound level increases a lot which could explain the distortion.

Ignore if not active during multicam but can you see your master audio meter clipping ?
